My vicious and brutal cough and cold seem to be almost in the past. I hope. This is the second malady to keep me out of work. First, I had to take a day off for a serious back ache then a week later, I took a day off to rest and sleep through my all over yuck and dizzyness. All resulting in this being my first full week back in the office since December. It feels so weird, you guys.
Work, of course, is going to start getting a bit crazier as I appoach April. March 13th sort of begins the countdown to hair pulling deadlines and video editing until all hours of the night. Until then, I am just trying to do as much in advance planning as I can. Today, for instance, is getting all caught up from last week and trying to put a plan in place for the only video I have actually shot footage for. Fingers crossed ladies and gents that I can get everything done with a minimal amount of crazy breakdowns.
Clothes, oh yeah, clothes. I wore my good old standby striped sweater skirt to take advantage of the low 70s temperatures. We can't seem to keep any semblance of winter these days, so I added leggings, black boots and a lace t-shirt and tank with my motorcycle jacket. I let my hair go a bit wild over the weekend, and it's not quite recovered yet from the curl overload. You can see what happens when it's left to it's own devices. I like this look and am a bit sad I can't wear it with my sweaters. I miss them and they are starting to feel abandoned. Oh, weird New Orleans weather gods, it's too early for Mardi Gras weather.
