I must be feeling less out of it because I wanted to post back to back outfit photos. Yesterday, I got all dressed up in my blue wrap dress, but today, I wanted to go a little more office casual. Maybe even a little too office casual. Everybody deserves a little dress code break once in a while right... even if they don't really have an office dress code, but a self-imposed one?
I wanted to wear this new blazer from the Limited, which I will be singing the praises of constantly. It's white, tuxedo inspired and more in line with traditional blazer shapes, so easy to wear. I went with a casual racer back top from Target and my almost black skinny jeans for the first go. I added my black platform sandals because I didn't feel brave enough to wear them yesterday and spunky jewelry like my snake ring, pyramid stud earrings, and a geometric pendant from DeMarcay Designs.
I think I would've looked infinitely more polished if I had woken up in enough time to flat iron and fix my hair properly. I compensated by wearing a Lip Butter shade from the ads that Emma Stone has been in. She has managed to slowly seep into my brain, so I recently purchased a sheer coral and a rusty brick red. So far, I'm liking them both quite a bit because they are not nearly so loud or drying as lipstick. I still love lipstick, but I don't wear makeup often enough to feel comfortable in it.
While this look is not totally polished, I felt good and that's pretty important these days. I don't know what has been in my craw, but I have felt generally out of sorts. I can't say it's over just because I managed to do these back to back posts, but I am feeling more like myself. I don't expect things to go back to five posts a week any time soon, but as I figure things out, I will try to keep you guys updated. I also hope to have a few more posts about the Plan as I try to get back into regular exercise.

dress code? Psh! You make your own dress code, lady! :)
I am definitely IN LOVE with that snake ring. Seriously! I would probably wear it everyday. It's both bold yet delicate at the same time. Does that make sense? I think you would look lovely with bright lipstick on! Just gradually increase the amount you put on until you're comfy with it :)
